Tabletop Game Cafe is a boardgame cafe centered around bringing people together and to achieve that goal we need friendly, knowledgeable, passionate people!
CAFE EMPLOYEE
We’re looking for a part-time staff member. Total shifts will amount to 9-14 hours - typically one weekday night (4-6hrs) and one shift on the weekend (5-8hrs). Previous food-service experience is the highest priority. Guaranteed $12/hr and up
Duties include but are not limited to:
Welcoming guests and providing basic information about the cafe and products
Taking and preparing food and beverage orders, including espresso-based coffee drinks as well as beer and wine (must be 19 to serve beer, 21 for wine)
Handling cash and credit transactions
Re-stocking refrigerators, shelves, and displays
Opening and closing tasks
Washing dishes and surface cleaning of the cafe
Maintaining cleanliness and food handling according to local health code
Learning games currently in-game library and keeping up to date on upcoming releases and trends in tabletop gaming
Teaching games, running demonstrations, and fielding questions regarding games
